After the long, exciting buildup, Christmas has come to an end, and students at St.Louis High School share their favorite items from their 2025 Christmas hauls.
This year, Junior Aiden Shaw said, “ I got some cool new pens which I was pretty excited about. I’m really excited to get to use them because I needed some new ones and they’re just cool.”
Freshman, Kazren LaLone and Braelyn Post, also shared their favorite items. Post says, “My favorite gift was probably my IPad. I also got a NeeDoh which I was really excited about. It’s not as big of a deal as the Ipad, but I was still grateful for it.”
LaLone also expressed, “I got a new phone. It was the iphone 17 Pro which was helpful because my last phone really sucked. So I was grateful for it.”
While many people seemed excited about their gifts there were also some mixed emotions as well. Heidi Hornbuckle expressed, “I did like a lot of my gifts but a lot of it was just either clothes or food which is fine it’s just small.” Shaw also had a similar response to that as well. “”I kind of had a mixture of emotions this year. I got a lot of cool stuff, but I also got a lot of clothes as well,” he added.
Post, however, stated, “Ok, I did like my haul. It was one of my favorite ones. I got a lot of stuff that I liked.” LaLone also enjoyed his gifts this year, but only wanted one thing. He said, “I was not disappointed with anything I got this year. All I really wanted was a new phone since the other one sucked. It wasn’t the best quality.”
Overall, SLHS students are grateful for this year’s hauls, and look forward to next year.
