St. Louis High School’s German exchange students arrived Oct. 7, 2025. With excitement and a little nerve, Remington Snyder said, “My German exchange student’s name was Ronja, and I was excited for them to come, more than nervous as we were talking all summer.” They nervously found all their classes and soon got settled into their time here at SLHS.
Sharks will do anything to show their school spirit, while the German exchange students had very little back home. Beeke Waldemann stated, “St. Louis has amazing school spirit, America overall has team spirit, but they also have team sports and school sports.”
As they wrapped up their time here at SLHS, Kenzie Davidson said, “My favorite memory with my German exchange student, Mila, was going to Mackinac with Maggie and her exchange student.” Izabelle Stiffler stated, “My favorite memory with my German exchange student, Milena, was going shopping in Lansing.” As the German exchange students get ready to head back home, the students at St.Louis High School say goodbye with a breakfast held by the staff at SLHS.
