At St. Louis High School, students are talking about their favorite song artists. They are debating who their favorite song artist is and who their least favorite song artist is. Everyone has his or her own opinion on artists.
First off, sophomore Ashleigh Devine said, “Megan Moroney is my favorite song artist. Her music is so good and really relatable. I love her songs. They just never get overrated,” she said, “I don’t really know who my least favorite song artist is. I like a lot of them,” she added.
Another student, freshman Olivia Brown said, “My favorite song artist is Taylor Swift because of how all of her songs are a little bit different with the beat. Like how you have more exciting ones and then there are more chill ones. Also, because I feel like I can listen to any of her songs and it would be good.” Brown also added, “I don’t like the song artist Ed Sheeran because his songs are just so boring. His songs can also be annoying, and in my opinion I don’t really like his accent.”
Junior Mylianna Wheeler said, “My favorite song artist is Rod Wave. I like his songs because when I listen to his music, I relate to the songs so much. In his music he tells a story which I can relate to so that is why he is my favorite artist.” Wheeler then added, “My least favorite song artist is Taylor Swift. I don’t like her songs at all, and I can’t stand her voice. I can’t relate to her songs, and her songs are just terrible.”
Overall, it is quite obvious that SLHS students all have their own opinions on songs and artists. What is popular for one person might be another student’s least favorite.
