As the leaves change color and the days grow darker, it’s time for back to school! After almost two-years of constant battles between school and a pandemic, staff and students are making a full return.

Eric Huff, the principal at St. Louis high school informed, “I’m pleased with where we are at, but I realize things could change any day.  We will continue to monitor the situation and if additional measures are needed we will respond accordingly.” Huff added that he doesn’t have many concerns; however, he knows that there are “norms” that need to be improved on.

Recently, there have been changes to staff in the high school. Huff continued, “We posted information on job sites and social media, and I also made many calls to area schools and educational centers looking for leads to fill positions.  We were really fortunate to get the new staff that we have.  It’s not easy replacing some great teachers, but I think we have some outstanding new members on our team.” He added that he is excited to see the virtual students back into school and eager to learn. As far as he knows, the once virtual students are adjusting accordingly.
