Varsity boys’ golf competed in a TVC Jamboree hosted by Hemlock Apr. 21, 2021. Spencer Sherwood led the team with a 38, while Jake Dice and Dylan Marr followed with 45 and 47.

According to Marr, “Yesterday, I didn’t feel like I did very good. As a team, we did a lot better than last week, but we still have lots of room for improvement. The course was not terribly hard and was in good condition.”

Dice mentioned, “I was a little unsure of my game because of the cold weather and the wind. I knew it affected how I played and how the ball would fly. I wanted to shoot below a 45 personally and I ended up shooting a 45, so I was pleased with my score. I know I can perform better but overall. I think we all played well, and some of us were excellent based on the conditions.”

Even though the weather was cold, and it looked as if it was going to storm, the boys pushed through the nine holes and placed third overall, only three strokes behind Nouvel.  The Sharks are back in action Apr. 28, 2021, at 4 p.m. for a TVC Jamboree hosted by Ithaca.
