St. Louis senior Logan Koutz is a huge fan of Pop-Tarts. In fact, he loves them so much that he took Pop-Tarts-themed senior pictures! Koutz then posted the pictures online and what happened next was truly unexpected.

Pop-Tart’s social media reached out to Koutz and asked permission to interact with the post. Koutz obviously agreed and was excited to see what would happen next.

He shared, “I decided that it would be fun to take my senior pictures with Pop-Tarts, so I did. Then, after we posted it, a guy that worked for Pop-Tarts reached out and asked us to tag the brand in the picture, so we did. Then, about a week later, the actual brand commented on the post [and] then messaged me to post the picture themselves and for my address to send me stuff. The day following, they posted my picture on their Instagram and Twitter.”

Pop-Tarts Twitter posted two of Koutz’s pictures and tweeted along with it, “if you’re looking for back to school inspo this is it.” The tweet has received over 400 likes as of Sept. 23.

The senior class at St. Louis High School was buzzing regarding Koutz’s newfound fame. Fellow senior Jake Dice stated, “I think it’s pretty extraordinary that the Pop-Tarts company reached out to him and put him on their social media. I think that was pretty cool.”

Dilynn Everitt added, “I think it’s really cool. He was just trying to have some fun, and now he’s getting hyped up for it.”

Koutz is still waiting to see what the brand sends him in the mail, but for now, he’s enjoying every bit of the experience.

He shared, “I thought this was a very unique and cool experience that I’m very glad I got to be apart of. I was freaking out; I was so shocked when they reached out. I was hoping for just a like, and Pop-Tarts went above and beyond that, and I’m very blessed.”
