The St. Louis High School National Honor Society recently invited some current juniors and sophomores to become part of NHS. For the NHS organization, these invites are extremely important because when May approaches, the 20 seniors who are a part of this organization will say farewell to SLHS.

Chloe’ Baxter, a current member of NHS, stated, “I feel that having new members in NHS can help create some new passion toward doing good and helping people in the community.”

Kaylyn Collins, an upcoming inductee, stated, “I think it would be a great experience to add to high school, and it would look great on college applications. Another plus is that it is a great way to give back to the community.”

Senior Danielle Weller stated, “NHS always gave me such an amazing feeling when serving my community, and I will truly miss having such an incredible organization to be a part of and serve for.”

The NHS induction ceremony, which is when new inductees are admitted, takes place April 21, 2020, at 6:00.
