Saint Louis High School’s science symposium took place Wednesday, Feb. 19, inside the gymnasium.

Every winter, Saint Louis High School students who participate in science classes create a science project that they are graded heavily on.

Cameron Peak said, “The science symposium provides a great real-world experience in presentations for high school students. It helps students take a step further and find something they enjoy researching. Students who struggle with this just haven’t found something they enjoy learning about yet.”

The science symposium offers the community a chance to come in and experience the science projects students have created. Students invite their friends and family to showcase their experiments which gives the student a chance to practice for the in-class presentation.

Corban Allen said, “The science projects and symposium are overall beneficial for Saint Louis students. I think it is really cool to go into the gym and see all the projects students have done. It also gives the community a chance to see what our students are doing.”
