The junior varsity boys are currently the most successful St. Louis basketball team this season. They currently have a record of 5-5 after losing to Bullock Creek.

The junior varsity team is coached by Andrew Bebow. This is his second year coaching at the J.V. level , and there has been a lot of improvement. The J.V. team went on a three-game win streak just before losing to Nouvel.

Sophomore Ignatius Jackson stated, “Our team is doing really well this year. If we can master out offense and defense, we can start to go on win streaks longer than just three games.”

Sophomore Kollin Lyon stated, “I know we can win more than half of our games. It’s just a matter of execution and being tougher than our opponent.

The J.V. team competed against the Lancers Jan. 28 for the first time this season. The game was tied at the beginning of the fourth with the score being 26-26. The Sharks were doing well until they started turning over the ball, which led to foul trouble. The final score was 48-41.

Sophomore Joey Good stated, “We are barely halfway through the season, and it is only going to get better.”
