Alexis Beeson signed with Cleary University Jan. 10, to continue her softball and academic career for the next four years.

“I chose Cleary because of the bond that I have with the coach and because it is a business school. I plan on pursuing a career in sport-promotion and event management, and Cleary has a very good program,” said Beeson.

Beeson started playing the game of softball at the age of 6. Her dad was the president of Little League and her mom has always been super involved. This was the beginning of her love for the sport. Shortly after the start of her career, she began playing on many travel teams and started competing year round. Softball was no longer just a sport for Beeson, it was her happy place.

According to Beeson,“My favorite thing about softball is that I get to play at a high level and with my friends. Softball has introduced me to some of the greatest people in my life and I hope it continues to do so.”

Beeson has always dreamed of playing at the collegiate level, and it’s something that she has finally accomplished. Cleary University is located in Howell, Michigan, and participates at the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) level. Beeson will continue on her athletic career pitching for the University.
