“Until death do us part.” These binding words have cemented marriages for ages, but the fallen stars of the land of vice and sin don’t seem to get it as they seem to collect wedding rings like infinity stones. 

Celebrity marriages are infamous for living fast, dying young, and leaving carnage and more step-children than rabbits on aphrodisiacs, but sometimes, just sometimes, they can last for a long time. The best example of a long-lasting marriage is Irving Benson and Lillian Waldowsky which lasted from Nov. 19, 1936, to March 3, 2016, with the death of Lillian. 

On the other side of the coin, there’s Britney Spears’ marriage to Jason Alexander, which, to be fair, was annulled in a matter of hours due to Britney’s declining mental health. There are many reasons Hollywood marriages fail like lack of intimacy, high divorce rates, and the culture itself. A lack of intimacy can lead to disaster because journalists hound the stars all the time, and there’s no room for private talks between lovers. 

The hectic schedule also takes away time for closeness causing a rift. Finally, there are the affairs. I could hang myself with a chain of multiple tabloids about infidelities because people seem to think they can get away with anything, but news flash, they’re celebrities and can’t.
