Erickson’s bluish silver caddie shines among its peers.

Wyatt Miller, Writer

Will Erickson’s 1983 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz is a masterpiece of American engineering that harkens back to the age of muscle cars and in much, the same vein as the Colt M1911 is a relic that forgot to be obsolete.

Its stormy-greyish blue color is reminiscent of the skies over London in mid-Autumn, and its leather interior brings images of classic royalty to mind.

One stunning feature of the inside of the car is the ashtray in the armrest which cries out for the cigarettes that will never come because sissified kids nowadays don’t know how to be men and instead use vapes.

In terms of overall size, the car is similar to a hearse and, like a hearse, it has an air of sophistication and elegance.

Erickson acquired the car from his grandpa last May, and he has nicknamed the car “Bethany.”

Will Erickson plans to fix up the upholstery and the front right fender and, after all of that’s done, take it to car shows.

Mr. Burleson was asked about the car and he said, “Nothing like kicking it old school.” Aaron Bowerman described it as, “ When sitting down into Will’s luxurious Eldorado, the smooth leather seats are the most satisfying relief from the daily sit of my car’s cheap nylon. Ohh you can’t miss the beautiful in-door armrests with genuine ashtrays, and the aesthetics of the mid-counsel send me back to my youth of fixing up old cars with my old grandpa. This car is a beaut and Will’s one lucky guy to have this gem.”
