It was a great atmosphere, and we all had a lot of fun. I’m super excited to see where the team goes as we continue in our season.”
The team is also very sad to see the year end. Delainie Zacharko, a senior, will miss playing with the team. Zacharko voiced, “The softball team did great last weekend. We really showed that we came to compete and executed. We really worked as a team and had great communication and looked solid. It was a great way to end our last time playing at home together. My memories of softball and my teammates will definitely be one of the things that I will miss about St. Louis. ”
The next time the team played is May 24, hosted at Vestaburg Highschool. The lady sharks earned two lopsided victories 16-1 and 22-1.
