Saint Louis High School’s principal is currently participating in a fundraiser for United Way Arts United. Saint Louis High School is looking to pounce on this opportunity to help Mr. Huff out with fundraising.

Mr. Huff will be dancing in a competition with his wife and will compete against other couples. The goal for each couple is to raise the most money.

Allyse March said, “When I first heard that Mr. Huff dances competitively, I was shocked. I had never pictured Mr. Huff as a dancer before, and I don’t think any of the other students did either. I guess I also did not picture him as a singer, but he surprised me there as well when he sang at the Christmas assembly. He is full of all sorts of surprises and hidden talents. Let’s hope that he is also skilled in wrestling if he is going to wrestle Gavin Giles.”

March added, “I think it is a great idea to have incentives to get the entire school hyped up about the dance competition he will be participating in. I am very excited to see his dance moves, and I wish him luck.”

There are many rewards for Saint Louis students who donate to Mr. Huff. For donating only $1.00, the student gets a free cookie coupon. If SLHS raises $350, the school will add five minutes to lunch; $500, the school will add 10 minutes to lunch, and for $750, Mr. Huff will wrestle senior Gavin Giles at an assembly.

Luke Maxwell said, “It would be awesome to see the school raise enough money to see Gavin and Mr. Huff wrestle. I think the whole school would get really hype for it.”

The competition ends Feb. 28, and all the money will be due then.
