October has crept in, and Halloween is just around the corner. We can all agree that Halloween is a great time to dress up as your favorite movie character or classic Halloween costume. Here’s a list of 2019’s top ten Halloween costumes:

Starting off with number ten Spiderman from Spiderman Far From Home. The year 2019 has offered a couple of movies that feature Spiderman including Spiderman Far from Home and Avengers Endgame. What better way to spend Halloween, then dressed up as your favorite neighborhood crime fighter?

Number nine is Pikachu. Every year at Halloween there are always some cosplayers whether it be Dragon Ball Z or Pokemon. In 2019 Detective Pikachu was also released, which was a top pick in movies. Solve some mysteries as your favorite detective this Halloween. 

Coming in at number eight is Steve from Minecraft. This year Minecraft has made a comeback and was a popular game choice. Minecraft now has 112 million monthly players. So get out your diamond pickaxe and mine diamonds this Halloween.  

Number nine is a spine-chilling costume, Anabelle from Anabelle comes home. The new Anabelle Comes Home was a hit in regards to the Box Office. So Dress up as your favorite doll from the Conjuring franchise and make it a spooky Halloween.  

Number six, John Wick. Legendary hitman John Wick broke box offices at 321.7 million dollars. Escape the most cutthroat killers this Halloween as John Wick. Cole Acker added, “John Wick is a great choice to be on Halloween because Keanu Reeves is breathtaking.”

Next up is Joker. With the new Joker movie coming in at 68% on rotten tomatoes, it’s no wonder that this would be a top pick to dress up as. Get out your face paint and make it a hysterical Halloween. 

Number four is Captain Marvel. With a whopping 78% rotten tomatoes, U.S. Air Force pilot Carol Danvers seems to be a top pick to be for Halloween. So fly into Halloween with character, and as Captain Marvel would say, “Higher, further, faster, baby.”

Number three is Pennywise the dancing clown. With the release of IT Chapter 2 this year, it is no surprise that Pennywise is a popular costume choice. Keep away from the drains and avoid the red balloons this Halloween because Pennywise is back!

Coming in at number two is El from Stranger Things. Chapter Three of Stranger Things was released July 4. It seemed to be that everyone could not stop binging this well-awaited chapter. Ellie Gager said, “ When Chapter Three of Stranger Things came out July 4th, I woke up that morning and sat on my couch to begin binging the whole season. I ended up finishing the whole season in eight hours.”

Finally, the number one pick is Iron Man from Avengers Endgame. In honor of your favorite Avenger, spend this Halloween as the iconic Tony Stark.  Adry Munoz commented, “I think that Iron Man is a good choice because of the emotional ending in Avengers Endgame.”
