Recently, the game Cookie Run: Kingdom came back into the spotlight with the newest updates with the beast cookies. The revival came along with the release of Shadow Milk Cookie as a playable character on Jan 15, 2025.
Cookie Run: Kingdom is a gacha game released Jan 19, 2021. The storyline follows Gingerbrave and his friends, Strawberry Cookie, Wizard Cookie, Custard Cookie III, and Chili Pepper Cookie, as they find a cakehound with a stolen crown. Now, the story has devolved into fighting beast cookies alongside ancient cookies. However, the newest beast cookie has been added for her counterpart, Hollyberry Cookie, to face head on in her beast yeast storyline. Now with many updates, the fourth beast cookie of the five was released.
Eternal Sugar, embodying sloth, is the newest playable character to be added to kingdom alongside her sidekick, Pavlova Cookie, to rival the virtue of happiness. Senior Kailee Reese has been playing since 2021 and has not taken a break from the game. Reese said, “I am so prepared. I’ve been waiting for this update for a while. All the other beast cookies are the beast of something considered bad and destructive, while Eternal Sugar Cookie is the beast of sloth. The sin of sloth is known for being lazy and putting in little to no effort. We’ve already seen her be very tired and not wanting to put in a lot of effort physically. I’m excited to see if her fighting will be physiological or not. I’m very interested in her and her concept.I don’t have a lot of fateful cookie cutters stocked up. I used all of them to get an Awakened Golden Cheese Cookie, but there is always a special event to get event-specific currency to use in the chance up gacha!”
It has been stated by numerous sources that Eternal Sugar Cookie will be a bomber in the middle of the team. The best topping setup for her would be cooldown or attack damage. Best for the arena, Eternal Sugar Cookie would best benefit from a team that includes a tank support such as Raspberry Cookie or Hollyberry Cookie, damage dealers such as Golden Cheese Cookie and White Lily Cookie, as well as a healer such as Herb Cookie or Pure Vanilla Cookie.
“The newest beast looks amazing and interesting. I don’t know if she will become my favorite because I’m waiting for Silent Salt. He is definitely my favorite by far because of how he looks right now. Eternal Sugar does more damage then Shadow Milk but SM has such a unique mechanic with him that allows him to self revive. I mean, ES puts the enemies asleep and does TONS of damage but she can’t be better than SM,” said junior Skylar DuBois-Kleinhans.
In the near future, Eternal Sugar Cookie’s counterpart’s awakened form will be released with its own banner. Fans eagerly await Hollyberry Cookie’s release.
