St. Louis High School’s top 10 tea took place once again Monday, April 28, 2025 in the SLHS media center.
The top ten tea, an occasion in which St. Louis’s top ten students are invited to a celebratory tea party, brings students and their families together to acknowledge the accomplishments and efforts that brought them this far. This year’s top 10 includes: Landon Pestrue as valedictorian, Kaya Munoz as salutatorian, Elizabeth Starry, Annabelle Breen, Elizabeth Burt, Rebekah Ross, Colin Kuhn, Lauren Devine, Kerregan Wilson, and Zoey Clark.
Kaya Munoz shared, “My favorite part was everyone being given their own moment of recognition of their accomplishments, as I am very proud of all my friends and peers for working so hard as well. It was super exciting and relieving to learn what my hard work throughout high school had led to.” Expanding further, Munoz shared, “I’d definitely say that it made me more excited. As an underclassman, it was hard for me even to picture coming this far, so it’s nice that I’ve made it here anyway and can continue to grow and learn.”
Fellow top 10 member Annie Breen shared, “It was definitely a surprise to learn that I was in the top 10. It is very interesting to be placed in a ranking. I certainly didn’t think that I would be in the top five itself. It is something to be proud of for sure. It definitely makes me nervous to graduate because there are so many expectations and things in the real world to be prepared for, along with choosing a major. My favorite part of the tea was listening to everyone’s achievements and their future plans.”
St. Louis High School’s 2025 Senior Class graduation ceremony is expected to take place May 22, 2025, in the high school gymnasium.
