Call of Duty has been rolling out great content throughout the year, and this newest addition keeps that trend up! Call of Duty Black Ops 6 Season 2 Reloaded was just released featuring new maps, weapons, game modes, and skins.
The two new maps released with the update have been well received by the community with Grind, a fan favorite map from Black Ops 2, and Bullet, which is the new smallest map ever made. Senior Elliot Carter said, “The new Bullet map looks broken, and I am all for it!”
The weapons being added are a full set of new melee which were added along with the Ninja Turtles collaboration released alongside the new update! Senior Blake Ferman stated, “The new weapons in this update are kind of underwhelming; it’s just a bunch of melee weapons. However, I’m excited for the skateboard and saw blade launcher weapons coming later this week.”
The TMNT collaboration added in the new update included a brand new Ninja Turtles Zombies mode where the zombies are replaced with Footclan soldiers. The update included new skins for all four Ninja Turtles and Master Splinter! Along with this though, there is controversy with some players feeling like it’s being used just as a cash grab. In fact, Ferman argued, “The TMNT crossover is cool I guess, but it’s all just one big cash grab by the developers. The only way to obtain any of the Turtle’s respective operator skins is to purchase one of the bundles. Not only that, there’s no easy way to get the new weapons, you either have to get one million XP for all of them, or buy those in bundles too.”
Overall, the season 02 reloaded update seemed exciting, however, there isn’t much for players who don’t want to spend more money on the game. However, players are hoping season 03 will be quite big, as it has been that way in previous titles for season three!
