The senior all night party committee is selling decorated chocolate covered strawberries for Valentine’s Day and order forms are currently available in the office.
The forms are accepted from Jan. 27, to Feb. 7, and students must pay when they turn in their form. The strawberries are five for $5 and will be delivered to school at lunch Feb. 14. The strawberries will be decorated in many different styles, and there will be a little note for who the strawberries are for and who they are from. Students could also make them be from a secret admirer.
Brynn Saxton, a senior here at SLHS said, “My friends and I are going to be making the chocolate covered strawberries for this and all of the money will go towards the senior all night party.” A few of the seniors are getting together to make this all possible and raise money for the senior all night party.
A lot of students are planning on buying strawberries, whether they’re for themselves or someone else. Kelsie Gepford said, “I’m going to be buying myself some of the chocolate covered strawberries because they are so good, but I don’t really feel like making them myself. So I’m excited for them to come on Valentine’s Day.”
Sophia Miller, a junior at SLHS said, “Me and my friend, Gracie Lombard, both decided that we want to buy strawberries for each other because we’re best friends and I love chocolate covered strawberries. I think it’s such a great idea to sell them around Valentine’s Day because a lot of people love to eat sweets around this time of year, and it also opens up the opportunity to raise money for the senior all night party.”
