Students at Saint Louis High School are wondering which type of shopping is better– online or in-person.
This is the debate going around and Students of SLHS are trying to find that out. There are many factors to Consider when debating which shopping is better. Some like to physically view what they are purchasing while others like the organization of each item on a website. There are both pros and cons to both methods
Sophomore Hudsyn Humble stated, “I prefer in-person mostly because I love thrift shopping. I usually do in-person shopping just because it’s fun to hang out with friends and try on outfits. I also really love thrifting. Even though online shopping is considered easier, which I also like, in-person is just so much better because you can actually try on the clothes, and it feels like I don’t have to rely on a simple task of shopping.
“Even though I do like in-person because then you can get more size accurate clothing, I prefer Online,” stated Sophomore Elliot Turner. “While it’s harder to find accurate sizes because you have to guess based on reviews, there’s a lot more options, it’s way easier to use, and I don’t have to worry about carrying cash. I find it way more organized,” Turner added.
Yet, even in a heated debate like this, there are people who still sit in between. For example, Junior Lillian Billings stated, “Personally, I prefer both because I love to go in the stores and check out what deals they have or just try on clothes, but sometimes I just don’t wanna deal with a lot of people so I stay home and shop on Amazon because it’s less stressful. I Find both have their advantages.”
Even though there are many differences between the two, people still find their own ways to use both types of shopping to their advantage.
