Students in Mrs. Biehl’s classes will go on a field trip to the 61st annual Northwood University Car Show Friday, Oct. 4, 2024.
Each of Biehl’s classes will be leaving early in the morning where together they will head to Northwood to see Northwood University’s car show, which isn’t just any old-timey classic car show. It is a vast display of timeless vintage cars and futuristic prototypes.
Students who go will have the ability to explore and admire every display and gain knowledge on the evolution of cars throughout the years. On top of that, they will engage with automotive design software, participate with hands-on engineering challenges, and attend seminars led by automotive experts. Students will be given the opportunity to possibly ignite a passion for engineering and automotive design.
The anticipation for the field trip is immense. Senior Devanz Svelti-Cruz stated that he is looking forward to being able, “to spend time with my friends!” Senior Mason St. John commented that he was excited to go because he’s “Always been a huge car enthusiast and getting to go to one of the biggest shows for a school trip is really fun.” Even teachers like Mr. Kuhn are excited about the trip.
The upcoming trip to the Northwood Car Show is set to be an unforgettable educational adventure that will give students the opportunity to learn and have fun with their friends all at the same time.
