St. Louis High School bowlers Lilly Massaway, Madyson Hartman, Noah Buchanan, and Brighton Buchanan recently signed to bowl at the collegiate level!
The bowling season has recently come to a close, and these four bowlers are extending their bowling careers to the collegiate level. Massaway will be bowling for MID Michigan College, Hartman will be bowling for Montcalm Community College, and both Buchanans will be bowling for Cornerstone University.
All four of these bowlers are ecstatic to continue bowling in college. In fact, Massaway said, “I’m super excited to bowl for MID and to continue competing.” Massaway expressed how she has known since January 10 that she wanted to join the team. “The signing went well. I was nervous and I had more people come than I expected.” Massaway had a successful season this year, and will continue to thrive in the college environment.
Hartman has also had a very successful season, and will continue to achieve great things in college. In fact, she said, “I wanted to bowl collegiately for a while and MCC had the AG program I wanted to do so it worked out that way. I’m definitely excited to bowl in college. I’ve always had so much fun in high school and bowling is just a big part of my life so I’m excited for sure. I thought my signing went pretty well and I appreciated all the people who showed up to support me.”
The Buchanan twins are also both very excited to be bowling on the higher level. In fact, Noah Buchanan said, “I knew I wanted to bowl there since the beginning of this year. The atmosphere is amazing.” Noah also added how he thinks bowling with his brother will continue to be fun, even in college. Brighton Buchanan also had a few thoughts. He said, “I’ve wanted to bowl at Cornerstone since my visit last year. I wanted to bowl there because the coach went out of his way to make me and Noah feel comfortable.” Brighton also added, “I am excited to continue bowling with my brother because I can’t imagine bowling without him.”
