The Saint Louis golf team had a tournament at Tullymore Golf Course Monday, Sept 18. The team was led by seniors Natalee Hoyt and Josie Schrot. The Sharks are continuing to put in the work for the coming up tournaments.
The Lady Sharks took fourth place overall with a score of 441. The top two golfers on the team were Natalee Hoyt and Josie Schrot.
Head coach Andrea Biehl said that the girls played a very difficult course. The girls are working on the mental side of golf. The teams continue to improve both mentally and physically. Biehl is looking forward to the next tournament (Sept. 20) in Standish. Senior Natalee Hoyt led the Sharks with a score of 95, which is good because the course was very difficult.
The teams working hard to improve their scores for the season, they are continuing to push through all the challenges that gets in their way. Since the course was difficult, the girls didn’t do as well as they wanted as a team, to but they are continuing to improve by having better attitudes. This is a good thing to have because golf is a very mentally challenging sport. The Sharks are back in action Sept. 25, at Alma Country Club.
