The St. Louis High School Marching Band took second place in their division at the Alma College Marching Invitational Saturday, Oct. 6 at Alma College. The band received honors in auxiliary, marching, and music as well as their second place title. Nine schools in total were in attendance.

According to Ms. Livingston, the band director, “I feel like the band performed very well. The judges gave us a lot of very good feedback. I’m really excited to take the band back next year. We’re going to fight for first place!”

Dylan Crandall commented, “I feel like the place we got was okay. We could have done better if people would have focused more. They didn’t try their hardest. I’m glad we got second place; we did pretty well.”

This is the marching band’s only competition for the season.
