According to Coach Tomanek, the girls track coach, he felt as if the girls had a great chance to come away with the championship. He shares, “Thankfully the girls performed at a high level even surpassing my expectations.” He said, “I would say they matched or exceeded my expectations, and I’m very proud of them so far.”

According to Korah Honig, a junior who got a personal record, “I think the team did really well.” She said, “We have a small group so everyone has to do a lot of events, but we all pulled it off really well.” Honig added, “It was great to come back from quarantine to an already stable, well-oiled team.” She believes since it was her first meet, it was great to get right down to business.

These girls have been working very hard toward being the best and continue getting better.
