Big Time Rush is a very well-known TV show that aired on Nickelodeon, in 2009, and can now be streamed on Netflix. Since then, most teenagers worldwide have seen or heard of it.

It starts off with four best friends that live in Minnesota; James, Kendall, Carlos, and Logan. James Diamond has a heart for singing but definitely isn’t the best. Kendall Knight has a love for hockey but is an amazing singer. Logan Mitchell is the one with the brains, the logical one. Lastly, Carlos Garcia is the crazy one, and he likes to have fun. The big producer, Gustavo Rocque, comes to Minnesota to audition teenagers to be his next big star. James auditioned and didn’t get picked, while Kendall was automatically chosen by Gustavo. Kendall makes an agreement with Gustavo that he will go with him to Los Angeles if his friends and family can follow along and make the four boy-band. So the boys ditch the hockey sticks and live the big life in LA.

According to Talan Leonard, who used to watch it a lot as a kid, “It was probably my favorite show if I’m being honest.”  He agrees that this show was a definite game-changer for Nickelodeon. He explained, “This show was the ideal life when it first came out. Everyone wanted to be like them.”

According to Jayde Thompson, she also loved watching the show growing up. She says, “I always remember knowing every word to their songs when they came on.” She agrees that this show gained a lot of attention when it came out in 2009.
