Trippie Redd, real name Micheal Lamar White IV, is an American rapper who made his debut mixtape, “A Love Letter To You”, in 2019. This album was what brought him to his level of fame today. However, “A Love Letter To You” isn’t the first album Redd released. He created three albums and two other mixtapes.

Sophomore Justice Onstott said, “I heard of Trippie Redd from a few of my friends. My favorite song by him is **** Love.” Onstott doesn’t really listen to him too often. “I only really like that song because XXXTENTACION is in it. There’s nothing that really sets him apart from other rappers like Juice and X.” Onstott says, “He’s nothing compared to them. Nothing.”

Cam Schoenknecht says, “I started listening to him because my friend, Liam Fuentes, put me on him. He showed me his songs back in 2018 and I started listening to him more and more.” He took a two year hiatus before slowly getting back into the routine of listening to Redd. “My favorite song by Trippie Redd is 1400-900 Freestyle.

While Trippie Redd has done many songs alone, he has also made quite a few collaborations with multiple different artists. His song 6 Kiss was sung with Juice WRLD, Hate Me featuring YoungBoy Never Broke Again. That’s just the tip of the iceberg. He has also collaborated with XXXTENTACION, The Kid LAROI, YNW Melly, Lil Yatchy, Machine Gun Kelly, and Iann Dior.
