The Lady Sharks hosted their own home invitational Monday at Hidden Oaks with 13 teams in attendance.

Junior Ella Mader commented, “It was extremely fun. The back nine holes were really hard and kind of stressful, but when I played the front nine, it calmed me down a lot. It was really hard to keep my head in the game while playing the back nine. All in all, it was an amazing day to play some golf.”

Senior Skylar Rodriguez mentioned, “Yesterday’s match was 18 holes. It was the first match for a lot of our team, and it made up a long day. Overall, we did not end badly compared to the other teams. It was a bright, sunny day for golf, and it was extremely fun to be able to golf with new people.”

St. Louis Red finished sixth and our St. Louis Black team finished 10th. STL Red was led by Rodriguez shooting a 108 and Chloe Baxter with a 113. STL Black was led by Mader and Mackenzie Strong. The girls are back on the course Wednesday for their T.V.C. Jamboree at the Fortress in Frankenmuth.
