American actor Chadwick Boseman tragically passed away Aug. 28, 2020, after a four-year battle with colon cancer. He died in his Los Angeles home and was later buried in his hometown in South Carolina.

Boseman was known for his leading role as T’Challa in Black Panther

Noah Stites said, “I was dynamically imposed, as I was not originally aware of his passing.” He followed up with, “But he was a great actor and an even greater man, and I send his family my heaviest condolences.”

Although not everyone knew of his death, it still hit people pretty hard then they found out. Victoria Carroll said, “I was shocked. Filming an action movie while fighting cancer? The dude was a real superhero. He was tough. I respect him for that.”

Black Panther director Ryan Coogler discussed his death shortly after it took place. “I spent the last year preparing, imagining, and writing words for him to say that we weren’t destined to see. It leaves me broken knowing that I won’t be able to watch another close-up of him on the monitor again.”
