Girls’ golf competed at the 3rd annual Shark Classic at their home course, Hidden Oaks, Monday Sept. 16.

“The match was difficult in ways but it was a fun learning experience. I got to talk to many new girls and get to know people I would have never met,” said Gracelyn Bebow.

Skylar Rodriguez commented, “Yesterday was just a big practice match for what is to come. We may have not done our best, but that just means we have room for improvement.”

Out of 12 teams, Frankenmuth took first place and Freeland came in second place. Rodriguez led the Sharks with a 113. The Lady Sharks didn’t perform their best, but they still remained positive through the 18 holes. The girls are back in action on Wednesday, Sept. 18, at a TVC Jamboree hosted by Frankenmuth.
